Business, Technology, and Services: Key Takeaways from Cases&Faces Chicago 2025

n October 11, 2025, Chicago hosted one of the year’s most anticipated business events — the Cases&Faces Conference and Awards. Bringing together hundreds of participants from across the U.S., the event featured dozens of speakers, expert panels, and open discussions on business, technology, and personal success.

The format was intentionally flexible. Conference attendance was not required for award nominees, and winners could opt out of the business program. This approach allowed Cases&Faces to combine three core elements — knowledge, recognition, and community — into a single platform focused on growth and professional support for those building businesses.

The event has become a key meeting point for professionals shaping careers and companies in the United States.

A Meeting Point for Business Leaders and Experts

Over the past years, the Cases&Faces conference has been building its presence in the U.S., evolving into a comprehensive ecosystem. On this platform, entrepreneurs, investors, tech founders, and thought leaders from diverse industries and backgrounds exchange ideas and share experiences. This dynamic mix has become a catalyst not just for individual businesses, but for the broader business community.
The 2025 program featured over 25 speakers covering key aspects of doing business in the U.S., including corporate and labor law, digital marketing, the use of artificial intelligence, and other relevant topics.
Legal and regulatory topics took center stage, with discussions focusing on practical strategies for corporate structuring, protecting intellectual property, and aligning HR practices with evolving compliance standards. Financial sessions drew intense interest, covering tax planning, investment attraction, and accounting practices aligned with modern U.S. business operations.
One of the most talked-about sessions was presented by Irina Golmgrein, founder of ExpertizeMe International LLC and a media business expert. Her presentation carried a striking title: “$100 at 15% for 100 Years ≈ $117.43M: Building Wealth Through Compound Interest.” She demonstrated how long-term thinking and structured financial planning can help build resilient capital in any economy.
The tech segment drew strong attention thanks to a presentation by Dmitry Kotov, an AI and Web3 expert and founder of Neuron Expert Corporation. In his talk titled “SMM, SEO, and Sales on Autopilot,” Kotov showcased how AI-powered tools are reshaping marketing — making promotion and sales processes more accurate, measurable, and predictive.
Among the most anticipated sessions was a keynote by Alena Petrova, General Partner at YellowRocks.vc and mentor to over 10,000 startups. In her talk “A Two-Sided Future: Can Founders and Investors Win Together?”, she explored the evolving balance of power between capital and innovation — and how alignment, not control, leads to better founder-investor outcomes.
Venture capital was another key focus of the program. Speakers shared candid insights into the roles of LPs, how to engage angel investors, and what it really takes to raise capital in the early stages.
The program wrapped with hands-on business modules, including real-world cases in real estate, logistics, e-commerce, and business process automation. Entrepreneurs spoke not just about success stories, but also about failures — what didn’t work, and how those lessons shaped better strategies. That level of transparency is what made the conference stand out as a genuine space for open knowledge exchange.
And the conversations didn’t stop after the final panel. Coffee breaks and informal networking offered attendees opportunities to connect with new partners, clients, and mentors — reinforcing the sense that this business community is growing not just in size, but in depth.
At the same time, more than 500 people followed the event remotely via a seven-hour livestream — turning an ordinary Saturday into one of the most valuable learning days of the year for professionals.

An Evening That Brought Leaders Together

That evening, the Cases&Faces Awards ceremony honored professionals who are strengthening the U.S. business community through leadership, innovation, and professional excellence. Held for the third time in 2025, the awards have now established themselves as a respected platform for recognizing achievements across three key areas: Leadership and Management, Technology and IT, and Professional Services.
The awards are open to all professionals working in the U.S., regardless of whether they attended the conference. This year, the organizing committee received over 100 applications from more than ten states.
The jury consisted of entrepreneurs, investors, analysts, and HR experts with both local and international backgrounds. The selection process occurred in two stages. Each project was scored on a 10-point scale based on several key criteria: innovation, industry impact, leadership qualities, professional reputation, and contribution to the business community. In cases where scores were comparable, additional factors such as social relevance and growth potential were also considered.
In the Leadership and Management category, the awards recognized strategic approaches to team building, organizational resilience, and people-first business design. The Technology and IT category showcased advances in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, big data, and platform-based solutions. In Professional Services, judges highlighted work in marketing, consulting, finance, wellness, and client experience — especially when paired with a commitment to innovation and service quality.
The Professional Services category brought together experts in marketing, consulting, finance, beauty, and wellness. The jury recognized projects that combine high service standards with innovative approaches and thoughtful tailoring services to client needs across industries.
Each year, the jury highlights a broad range of professionals — not only founders and business architects, but also developers, marketers, consultants, and creatives. What unites the winners is their ability to adapt, innovate, and create real impact in their respective industries — often serving as models for innovation-driven growth.
For many, the award served as both a mark of recognition and a catalyst for growth. Several nominees shared that the process helped them reflect on their professional journeys and receive an independent, meaningful assessment of their contributions to industry and society.

A Shared Space for Growth

At its core, Cases&Faces — both the conference and the awards — is about empowering professionals who are building businesses and careers across industries and disciplines. The events are designed to foster meaningful connections, support collaboration, and spotlight ideas that bridge cultures, perspectives, and markets.
The message was clear: this community is already making a measurable contribution to the U.S. economy. And beyond energy and ambition, these professionals bring something more — a strong commitment to knowledge, trust, and mutual support. They’re building an ecosystem for sustainable growth: launching companies, implementing technologies, and shaping new standards in management and customer service that elevate the broader social and economic landscape.
